  The Ultimate Fighter 12 Begins Production in Las Vegas

  

  The Ultimate Fighter 12 today began it’s six-week taping in Las Vegas, as 28 up-and-coming lightweights, coached by UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and upcoming challenger Josh Koscheck, will vie for the latest “Ultimate Fighter” title and a guaranteed contract with the UFC.

  Like The Ultimate Fighter 11, TUF 12 will see 14 of the 28 lightweights advance to the house by winning elimination fights, and will also include a wild card bout that will allow one of the eliminated fighters to earn their way into the quarterfinals.

  The Ultimate Fighter 12 debuts on Spike TV on Wednesday, September 15 at 10pm ET following UFC Fight Night 22.
